VR Fire hud
The Fire HUD VR project involved the development of a concept AR future HUD for firefighters. During the project development, I assumed the position of lead programmer and was responsible for fully developing a radial-shaped watch which would have allowed for gaze-based interactions.
The radial-shaped watch main requirement was, to be fully scalable and allow for any kind of interaction. The entire system was built around the idea that buttons could be added or removed and that they could perform any interaction in the simulation. Upon pressing a button another subsystem could be brought up or actions could be performed. The entire system modularity eventually allowed even for the addition of submenus without major changes to the base classes governing the watch and buttons.
